Pre-Season Off-Ice Training Camps

These dryland training sessions are designed to help Players build strength, power, speed and agility in a Team environment to the benefit of their on-ice performance.   Programs are designed to develop improved focus, work ethic and dedication to their sport through results driven training. Expect significant gains in strength, power, speed and agility. Players will gain an edge over their opponents and maintain that advantage throughout their season and playoffs.

Gary Talks Nutrition

  • Program developed and monitored by Gary Roberts
  • Nutrition Session with Gary Roberts open to players, parents & coaches
  • Focus on healthy pre-season calorie consumption and building good habits to carry through the season.
  • 10 one-hour Sessions scheduled over 5 weeks (2 evenings per week)
  • September 3rd – October 5th 2012

In-Season Off-Ice Training

In-season dryland training is often overlooked but has proven  extremely important for young players , and is especially critical for success in the playoffs after a long season.  Progressive teams are now including dryland  training into the team’s schedule which allowsplayers to maintain their off-season gains while staying focused and healthy on the ice. These sessions place special emphasis on effective warm ups, dynamic core strength and stability, and strength maintenance to prevent injury and burn out.

Dynamic Warmup

  • Program developed and monitored by Gary Roberts
  • Nutrition Session with Gary Roberts open to players, parents & coaches
  • Focus on pre and post game meals
  • 20 workouts over 26 weeks (1 evening per week)
  • 10 workouts over 13 weeks (1 evening per week)
  • October 8th – April 5th 2012
